Urgent Appeal Teme Vets Seek Owner of Injured Cat Found on Henley Road

Teme Veterinary Practice in Ludlow has issued an urgent public appeal to help locate the owner of a young black cat that was brought in after a serious road accident late on Tuesday night.

The cat described as a young, unneutered male with black fur and no microchip was found injured on Henley Road, Ludlow, and taken to the Teme Vets surgery for emergency treatment.

Veterinary staff say he remains in a critical condition, and while he is receiving strong pain relief and care, they are urgently trying to trace his owner.

“We are keeping him comfortable, but his injuries are severe,” a spokesperson for the practice explained. “We need to find his owner as soon as possible. Without contact by the end of today, we may have to make the heartbreaking decision to put him to sleep on welfare grounds.”

Proof of ownership will be required before the cat can be released.

Anyone who believes the cat may belong to them, or who recognises the description, is asked to contact Teme Vets Ludlow immediately on 01584 872147.
