Police Crack Down on Stone Throwing Incidents in Ludlow

West Mercia Police have been responding to a series of reports of stone throwing and anti-social behaviour around Ludlow in recent weeks.

The Ludlow Safer Neighbourhood Team, working alongside response officers, has been out in the community attending calls and collecting evidence to identify those responsible.

Following their enquiries, officers have interviewed a young person in connection with criminal damage offences. The individual is now being referred to the Youth Offending Service, which will work with them to address their behaviour and prevent further issues.

Due to legal restrictions, police cannot name the young person involved, but officers say they will continue to monitor their behaviour closely.

Residents are being encouraged to keep reporting any anti-social behaviour or crime in the area. You can contact West Mercia Police by calling 101, or by using the online reporting form at https://orlo.uk/3eut6.

In an emergency, always call 999.
